Vase - Pixelated Red Squirrel

Vase is the long-time moniker of Stephen Lane - prolific songwriter who has collaborated with Movietone, Headfall and most recently Tammy Denito of Linus.

Inspired as much by english comedy as americana-folk, his songs are laced with dark humour and melancholie twists. A hush and a whim; matching acoustic to casio in a lush and soulful awkwardness, the unique music of Vase is delicately outsider, enchanting and mournful.

Pixelated Red Squirrel is Vase's tenth album, and the first since 2011's A Distant Green For A Drier Shade.
