Thurston Moore - Trees Outside The Academy

Originally released in 2007 on Thurston Moore's own Ecstatic Peace! label, Trees Outside the Academy was the first solo outing for the Sonic Youth guitarist/singer since 1995's Psychic Hearts. 
 
Recorded at J Mascis' (Dinosaur Jr) house with Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley and MV/EE violinist Samara Lubelski, and featuring guest appearances from Christina Carter (Charalambides), Andrew Macgregor (Gown), John Moloney (Sunburned Hand of The Man), and noise artist Leslie Keffer.
