Sleater-Kinney - Dig Me Out

SUB POP

  • £14.99

Sleater-Kinney's brilliant and breakthrough third album, Dig Me Out, was originally released in 1997 on Kill Rock Stars and is one of the perfect albums of the late-90's.

Recorded by John Goodmason, and blending the raw intensity of the their first two albums (as well as previous bands, Heavens To Betsy and Excuse 17) with a shining, fun, and impassioned pop sensibility, Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein's intrinsic song-writing is at peak form on Dig Me Out, where their coolly entwined guitars meet the incomparable inventive drumming of Janet Weiss (Quasi), who joined the band as they began writing the album in 1996.

This edition, remastered by Creg Calbi, was reissued, along with the band's other first seven albums, by Sub Pop in 2014.
