Sleater-Kinney - All Hands On The Bad One

  • £14.99

Sleater-Kinney's fifth album, All Hands On the Bad One, was originally released in 2000 on Kill Rock Stars.

Recorded by John Goodmason, the album saw the band further develop their intricate musicality and lyrical story-telling with trademark rock inventiveness, and features appearances by Sarah Dougher (Cadillaca) on organ and Sam Coombes (Quasi) on mellotron.

Sleater-Kinney were form in 1994 in Olympia, WA by Corin Tucker (Heavens To Betsy) and Carrie Brownstein (Excuse 17), and were an integral part of the early-90's riot grrrl scene. They were joined by drummer Janet Weiss in 1996 and, through continual self-reinvention, have become one of the most important and successful indie-rock bands of the past quarter century.

This edition, remastered by Creg Calbi, was reissued, along with the band's other first seven albums, by Sub Pop in 2014.
