Glasgow's Sushil K Dade has been captaining the good ship Future Pilot A.K.A. to the outer-limits of pop experimentalism since the mid 90's, releasing albums and 7"s on labels including The Pastels' Geographic, Earworm, Glass Modern and Creeping Bent. 

Secrets From The Clockhouse was originally released on Creeping Bent in 2006, it was the fourth full-length album released by Future Pilot A.K.A.. The album features a list of collaborations that created a cinematic approach to the album, with Dade fulfilling roles as both producer, director and composer. Collaborators include Belle and Sebastian (Sarah Martin and Stuart Murdoch), Karine Polwart, The Go-Betweens (Robert Forster and Grant McLennan), Can (Damo Suzuki), and in particular a version of Sun Ra’s ‘Nuclear War’, which featured an eclectic array of collaborators; Mike Watt, Thurston Moore, Davy Henderson, Kim Gordon, and literary polymath Alasdair Gray
