Various - The Freakbeat Scene
The 'freakbeat' sound, was mainly a sub-genre of late 1960s UK rock'n'roll and garage, with many of the artists, and their styles, going on to become a larger part of British music history, and paving the way for the glam and punk rock to follow.
This lovingly compiled double-album contains many highly sought-after singles, originally released on the Decca and Deram labels, including early recordings from the Attack, the Birds, Marc Bolan and the Small Faces.
