Daniel Johnston - Hi, How Are You / Yip Jump Music

FERALTONE

  • £29.99

Originally self-released on home-dubbed cassette, Yip Jump Music and Hi, How Are You are two of Daniel Johnston's best-loved albums, that capture his lo-fi peak genius perfectly.

Arguably the greatest song-writer of his generation, Johnston, driven by his love of The Beatles, has created a back-catalogue of songs that Lennon & McCartney would be envious of; on these two albums, featuring Johnston alone with just a chord-organ and guitar, are some of his best, most simple, heart-felt, troubled, inventive, and adorable.

Despite the million bootleg t-shirts sold, both albums have been out of press for years; for the 35th anniversary of their recording, Feraltone have now reissued them together as a limited edition triple-LP package with poster.
