Can - Delay 1968
The ground-breaking German band Can were founded in 1968 by Irmin Schmidt, Holger Czukay, Michael Karoli and Jaki Liebezeit who formed a group which would utilise and transcend all boundaries of ethnic, electronic experimental and modern classical music.
Delay 1968 is an album of early recordings that had been intended as the band's debut, and features original vocalist Malcolm Mooney. The album remained unreleased until 1981, and is now considered a bonefide classic of experimental rock, and cemented their massive and unique influence on post-punk, electronic and avant-indie music for decades to follow.
