The Cube presents

Ariel Sharratt & Mathias Kom

Work is changing. Robots are replacing us. Capitalism is fracturing. We need a new soundtrack - but what do labour songs sound like when the nature of labour itself is so uncertain? With their second duo album Never Work, Ariel Sharratt and Mathias Kom (of Canadian garage-folk band The Burning Hell) search for answers.

Accenting acoustic elements of old-school folk revivals with electronic interference, Never Work explores the gig economy, side-hustles, tech feudalism, class war, unionised digital assistants, rebellious self-service checkout machines, and fully automated luxury communism. Simultaneously earnest and wry, the songs on Never Work are a protest playlist for our collective journey towards oblivion or the beach - or both.

Why buy tickets from radio/ON?

The price of your ticket includes the booking fee (this is a small charge that helps us to cover the cost of producing the tickets and selling them) and there are no extra hidden fees - not even postage, which is free to UK addresses. The full face value of your ticket goes towards making the show happen.

You will receive a lovely physical ticket that you can keep as a memento afterwards (or as reminder before-hand!)

We work closely with local DIY promoters that are putting on the most exciting and interesting shows and events in Bristol.

You can choose to receive your ticket/s in the post, or to collect them on the door at the venue when you arrive at the show (postage option not available for events that take place within 7-days). Alternatively, if you'd like to collect your tickets from the shop, just select 'in-store collection' from the options when you go to check-out.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch.
